Bodhi Tree Seed or Rudraksha, also rudraksh, Sanskrit: rudrÄka. The seed is produced by several species of large evergreen broad-leaved tree in the genus Elaeocarpus. Rudrakshas are valued similar to semi-precious stones. They are also the source of beliefs related to magnetic or crystal bracelets, faith healing, concentration, providing clarity and peace of mind. They’re also thought to improve memory and relieve stress. It is believed that the Rudraksha contains the secrets of the entire evolution of the cosmos within it.
